-
Computing
The High Energy Physics UNiX (HEPiX) community reunites every 6 months to foster a learning and sharing experience between sites facing scientific computing and data challenges. These meetings are an excellent source of information and sharing for worldwide IT experts in scientific computing, such as system administrators, system engineers, and managers from the High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics laboratories and institutes. Anyone is welcome to participate in these semi-annual meetings, its maillists, and so on. However, the activities and discussions remain focused on High Energy Physics since there are many other forum where general UNIX/Windows topics are covered.
If you want to learn more about these meetings, have a look at their dedicated web page which contains various information on the history of HEPiX, how to join the group, all future and past meetings starting from 1991 and a lot more!
